SPECIAL KEY PROPS
These are specific Items I designed and created for various films
that are not 'make up effects'
but that were built by me and my team.
'THE GODKILLER'
from DRIVE ANGRY
Patrick Lussier (Director/Co-Writer) asked me to design and build this after being 'let down' on previous productions, the brief was to create an ancient pistol, kept by the devil capable of packing a hell of a punch.
I based the design on a pepperpot pistol which I oversized, I then created a case and mythology for the gun itself that unortunately we never got a chance to show. Each 'hot' shell is encased in a glass vial containing holy water and has to be loaded using the special tongs and the vial smashed, prior to loading. Various holy and un-holy charms are hung from the hilt.
We created a host of versions including rubber versions, metal and loading versions.
